BMA plugs

I never really wore earrings before, but for some reason I decided to gauge my ears a couple years ago. Since then I've been on the hunt for unique plugs that you cant get everywhere, designs you don't usually see, something weird. Based out of Los Angeles the group of  bma designers tailor their line to be particularly affordable without sacrificing quality and aesthetics. The online shop carries all sizes with varieties of organic stone material, glass, and crimson. My latest purchase are these 24k gold plated earlets. A must have in your collection and a perfect break from your silver jewelry, these are double flared so they stay in good and are super light weight.

Lately I've been obsessed about my nails being painted. If they chip? Forget it, the next 20 minutes I have to spare you will find me repainting. So when I finally decided to drop the 8 bucks and give Sally Hansen's Salon Effects a whirl I was totally surprised at how easy they are to apply. The kit comes with everything you need: mini file & buffer, cuticle stick, and 16 nail polish strips. Complete with NO dry time (!!!!!!!!!!) you literally peel & apply. I however, recommend using a clear top coat to make them last a little longer. The box says they last up to 10 days. I made it to 8 before I took the polish off myself with a couple cracks at the tip of a few nails, nothing major that anyone would notice though, pretty impressive, Sally!

Smell good - Look good - Feel good

One of the first things Aj ever bought me was a couple bars of soap from this little company tucked in the Rockies almost 3 Christmases ago. I was hooked. Idaho Springs is home to The Soap Shop where a few weeks ago I went crazy grabbing as many bars as I could and loaded up on lotion. I love this stuff. My favorites are Oatmeal Milk & Honey, Almond, and Lemongrass scents. Their philosophy is this: "if you cannot eat an ingredient it doesn't belong on your skin." Pretty fitting for them because they use a ton of unrefined oils that do everything from preventing acne, fading stretch marks, providing protein, and of course protecting and moisturizing the skin. Perfect for super sensitive skin and rarely causes allergic reactions. Another awesome thing about this company?! They recycle their containers, so you can either bring them into the store or send them and they'll refill them with $1 off!

          Attention to details such as unique artisan linings, unexpected leather treatments and extensive interior organization have become Latico signature features that turn heads from coast to coast.           I grew up bargain hunting with my mother- living in thrift stores, off clearance racks and going to garage sales. I dont usually buy clothes or shoes without them being marked down once or twice (Von Maur is my favorite!) and it almost always pays off. Here is a prime example of what you'll find on the clearance rack at TJ Maxx. I found this Latico hobo for a measly $23!! It didn't have the original tags but I knew it was something special after I felt the leather.. plus the color is what initially sold me--I am obsessed with green. Retailing for a whopping $168 I'd say I made a pretty good choice.
